Okay, I need to finish getting ready for Erin + Ren’s wedding today but I thought I would share a couple awesome photos from Alana and Marks pre wedding hockey match. I’m sure they went out for rehearsal dinner after this. I’m glad to report that Alana will have all of her teeth on her wedding day tomorrow:). Fantastic.
Yesterday, I met Windemere Real Estate agent Nate Kenoyer to do a quick head shot session. Nate had some ideas for what he was looking for and I think we executed them well. Nate – thanks for taking the time to meet up and I hope these images help to represent you and your business.
Tuesday night (of all nights), the ladies of Late Tuesday did it again. I thought back many years to bunches of people gathering in our college house garage and having a fun little show from some cool girls that made great music together, they have since done bunches of albums, retired and were now back at it for one more night. It was a great show at the beautiful Triple Door. The ladies were joined on stage by Scott Erickson doing his amazing live painting magic. It was a fun night of music but their was a cause behind it all, the proceeds from the event went toward the Fremont Abbey Arts Center. Another cool aspect of the show was the unveiling of some new music from Tara Ward and Dana Little that you’ll be able to find on their new solo albums that will be coming out shortly (They’ll probably have more info on the Late Tuesday site). It was a fun and nostalgic show for us all and a joy to experience, thanks ladies!

Kjirstin and Jeremy are an amazing couple who definitely have a lot of chemistry with each other! They both worked so hard not only to prepare for their amazing day – but also to prepare for marriage! We often forget that it is not just a wedding day – but a start of MARRIAGE! That is a big commitment – like cell phone contracts! Just kidding! It is a huge commitment and we are so honored that we get to witness wonderful couples saying their vows to each other!!
We had a great time hitting up the Farmers Market, Lettered Streets Coffee House (Yeah Kjirstin and Anna – way to be awesome owners!), and downtown Bellingham with a wonderful crew!! There were so many beautiful details that just screamed Kjirstin and Jeremy!! The handmade silk flowers in the girls’ hair, the handmade jewelry, grandpa’s ring, flowers by the talented Heidi, cucumber salad galore 
, and sushi. There are countless other things that just made Saturday a perfect day!
Kjirstin and Jeremy – we are beyond happy for you and were so honored that we got to be a part of your day!! Enjoy!!

We were introduced to Jason and Dora through Rachel and Austin who’s wedding we shot last year. It was so fun seeing their family come together and make this beautiful day happen, a privilege to see. We had an early start for this wedding but one of the benefits was that we had time after the reception to do our photography with just the couple, awesome! Enjoy!

One of the fun perks of my job is having a great reason to revisit old friends – hey, they need photos too:). The Latimer’s were great friends back in high school and the years that followed so I was totally stoked to see Jennifer, Gena and the rest of the family again! We spent the sunny morning in West Seattle at Alki and had a great time! It was fantastic to see you all again and enjoy this preview!

Okay, so we are in the midst of the busy wedding season and the summer is going amazing. It seems we’ve been doing quite a bit of traveling to locations outside of Bellingham for our weddings so it was fun to stick around town for this wedding. They were married right at picturesque Hotel Bellwether and it was a beautifully overcast day for a wedding. Not too hot, not too cold so it was perfect! Kelli and Beau – it was an honor to be a part of your wonderful day! My favorite description of Kelli was ‘She has the looks of a supermodel and the personality of the girl next door’ – so true!! You guys are amazing!

This last week we had fun driving Grant all over to meet his Great Grandma’s and others. We left Bellingham and hit up Puyallup, Ellensburg, Olympia, Kent, Seattle and then back to Bellingham in four days. We had a lot of fun and will have to do it again soon! Enjoy some of our adventures.

This visit with Great Grandma was difficult because she suffers from Alzheimer’s and Dementia so it was a bit of a symbolic visit. This was such a cute moment as she loved the feeling of Grants soft skin and held on to his foot for quite some time.
