The Nelson Family Photos
Wednesday, October 14th, 2009Ha, I thought that would be fun. It’s true, that these are the Nelson’s family photos but not us:-). These are Tami, Colm and Brendan. Brendan is turning one so it was time for some new photos. It was great to reconnect and do photos. Happy 1st birthday Brendan! Enjoy.
Brendan is so cute. I’ve noticed a trend recently by the young fellas in our shoots to grab for the camera. So I’ve started calling these ‘self takes’. So fun!
You can leave some blog love below:-).
Libby’s Graduation Photos
Monday, October 12th, 2009When I received a call from Libby about photos, I asked her a series of questions to get a feel for what kind of photos she wanted and it definitely seemed right to meet her in downtown Bellingham for a great mix of old town and urban images. It was fun going through all the photos and to see how diverse they ended up. Not just in locations but in style, attitude and feel that Libby was able to portray through out the shoot. Well done Libby, you’re hired:-). Enjoy this sneak peak.
Classic downtown alley shot.
I had never utilized this mural downtown. It was about time:-).

Bellingham Family Photographer
Monday, October 12th, 2009Lindsay contacted us about doing some family photos recently, wanting to get some photos of her boys and the family together. I asked her what she was looking for and it seemed the sentiment was to get some fun and candid shots of the boys and we had a great time getting those for her. It’s been such a fun run of family and portrait photos so hold tight, I’m about to cruise through a bunch of fun blogs in the coming days. Enjoy!
Apparently these fellas don’t remember Titanic. Actually that’s probably okay:-).

Tara Ward – Revelations of a Blue Jacket
Tuesday, October 6th, 2009Many of you may know Tara Ward from the band Late Tuesday. Others may remember her beautiful recordings from before Late Tuesday got together. Well Tara is at it again with her new concept album – ‘Revelations of a Blue Jacket’. From what I here this has been an album years in the making as she’s dreamed it up. She recently had an album release concert at the beautiful Fremont Abbey Arts Center. Tara with all of her generosity has offered it this album free as a download at taraward.bandcamp.com – I know that Tara would love your support if you wanted to pay for the album, if you can afford to support in that way that’s awesome! Well hey, all that to say, here are a few photos from the evening. Enjoy!
Love the Rhodes.
Playful moment with Tara blowing bubbles after ‘Circles’.
Great job Tara, I love the way the evening came together!

lil Liam – Children’s Photographer
Monday, October 5th, 2009We had a great time reconnecting with Nina, Edwin and lil (big) Liam:-). You find Liam’s newborn photos here. It’s fun seeing how he’s grown and Liam really got Meg and I excited to see what we have in store as far as Liam being a bundle of energy as he ran around and had a good time. Thanks guys for letting us capture these images for you. Enjoy.
Edwin had been tossing Liam into the air, but I thought this moment of calm in the action was awesome.
As fun as it can to be have control of how the photos happen, Meg got this great shot of Nina warming Liam up the idea of photos:-).

Hadrian + Sarah – Destination Wedding Photography
Saturday, October 3rd, 2009Just a few weeks ago we photographed Dora and Jason’s wedding and we can’t wait to photograph Dora’s brother and fiance (Hadrian and Sarah:). We are totally excited to be joining them in Phoenix next month for their wedding. In the meantime they were excited to get some fun fall photos here in beautiful Bellingham. Meg and I are totally stoked to be a part of your big day! Enjoy this sneak peak!
How cute are they, seriously!
We’ll call this fore shadowing:-).
Hey, Hadrian – What are you laughing about, ha. You don’t need to tell:-).
Hadrian is a mechanic, so when he saw a MAC truck we had to head inside and get a few shots surrounded by all of the tools. Sarah wasn’t so sure, fun times.

Photography Blog – Jase is 2
Friday, October 2nd, 2009It’s been a blast doing photos for the Gilfillan’s these last three and a half years. Thinking back, we did Rob and Bre Ann’s engagement photos, wedding, family, maternity, baby and now a fun series of Jase as he grows up. It’s cool to see the whole picture of these great friends. This last week Jase turned two so it was time to for some more family photos! Bre Ann, Rob and Jase – we had a blast and look forward to seeing you again. Enjoy.
Grant was holding Jase’s hat for him:-).
Jase had so much fun running around, he was super active during our time. It was awesome.
How frickin’ adorable is he?
Happy Birthday Jase!
