Meg and I had a blast doing our first workshop this last weekend. Woods Coffee was a great host and it was very beautiful day to be at Boulevard Park. We had a few people that weren’t able to make it so it was a small group but it made for a nice balance of teaching and answering specific questions that each of the gals had. We will be scheduling some more of these classes in the coming months so let us know if you would like to learn how to take your dSLR off of auto.
I shall dub her ‘Model Meg’.

Meg working depth of field.
It’s true, I hide behind my camera:-).
Dealing with shutter speed to freeze me mid air. Pretty good hops for a big guy, eh?
It was fun to come home and see these Facebook statuses -
Shara - “Just spent 4 hours of my Saturday attending a photography class put on by Evantide Photography. So excited about what I learned! Things I already knew but never took the time to practice finally “clicked” for me today, plus I learned more great skills. Best $ I’ve ever spent. I could have stayed all day. Serious…ly. More excited about photography now than I’ve ever been! Thanks so much Aaron and Meg!”
Kim – “Learning more about photography from two talented photographers = great day!”
Naomi – “The workshop was so, so, SO worth it! I learned more in a few hours than I have in a few years. It was put on by Evantide Photography. I am looking forward to doing another training with them some time in the future. No more auto for me, I am going to do my best to stay in manual mode!
”
Thanks ladies! And remember, if you want to be a part of one of these classes to let us know and we’ll keep you updated!
