Abbie + Brandon – Wedding Engagement Photography

Meg and I headed out to Tail Skid Meadows for a fun themed engagement shoot with Abbie & Brandon.  Ted out at Tail Skid was so gracious and accommodating during our shoot, willing to move his airplane and even use some of his gear.  It was so much fun.  If anyone is getting married in Whatcom County and asks me for a great location, Tail Skid is always one of the top spots for me.  Abbie seemed to have a really great time in her era specific get up.  Fun times!  Enjoy the preview!

This was so funny.  Meg was just sitting there photographing and this cat (which Dee and Ted aren’t really claiming:), plopped right into Meg’s unsuspecting lap.  Awesome!

This was one of my personal favorites.

And here’s Megs fave, of her captures, I love it as well.

Not that us photographers ever get lucky… but… I got kinda lucky on this shot and I’m glad!

Both Abbie and Brandon were troopers in this shot.  It’s not nearly as easy as it looks!  Meg did an excellent job on the capture as well.

What fabulous shots! They are so creative (I love vintage!), and really captured a sparkle between you two! I can see these in a worn leather photo album on your coffee table for years to come (or am I showing my age?)

I think this is my favorite shoot of yours to date. I can’t get enough of it. I just saw your other posts, but had to look at these again, for, OH LIKE THE 10th TIME!! Incredible. WOW. I’m so proud to be friends with you guys, and to say I’ve shot with Evantide, and I could say other things but they wouldn’t be appropriate to post on your blog!! What a fun and creative set of photo’s. The photography is lovely, great variety of shots and such a feeling of being transported in time to the 1930′s or so…what a memorable day that must have been for the adorable couple. Everyone else is commenting, so I figured I should too. I am so impressed with these photos, I know Abbie is a babe…but these pictures are truly something else!! I can’t pick a favorite, I really like them all. But I do really like the one of us sitting in the grass with me looking at the map and Abbie looking at me. I think she likes me.

These pictures are so adorable and very original i love the idea of the airplane and maps added great idea. i guess I like the one with the map the most because you can see the endearing look and the love and that is what this kind of occasion is all about.

These look great, I especially like Brandon’s pointy-toe boots, and the shot of Brandon in the cockpit with just the goggles on Abbie’s head poking out behind!
