Kim and Darren trekked to the great white north of Bellingham from Seattle for their engagement session! It was soooo much fun!!! They brought their pooches Darla and Reno – who I’m pretty sure could have drug me across the field in search of a squirrel if they wanted to!! Strong dogs!!! We hit up a local dog park for the pooches, went to our fav Bay View Cemetery (creepy, but so pretty without the headstones…don’t judge!) and then to a friends property out in the county!! Thank you Nina and Edwin!
This is the couple that I’m pretty sure my parents would take them over me and Aaron! They are both Wazzu grads! Enough said! *Note – both of my parents went to WSU – but I’m guessing you could figure that out!!* We wanted to capture Kim and Darren in the snow – and thankful for flexibility and sheer luck – it snowed in Bellingham! Oh – also – the shoot was planned for Saturday, January 8th at 1pm. Now, if any of you are Seahawks fans – that brings up a red flag! The Seahawks made it to the playoffs and gametime was 1:30! Hmmm, shooting…or rooting on our team?? And this is why Kim and Darren are rad! They had the same thoughts!! So we rescheduled for Sunday morning! Lol! We all got to cheer on our 7-9 Division winners and talk about the game during the shoot!
Kim and Darren – we are so looking forward to your wedding – when it won’t be 20* out! Enjoy!!

Aaron here to jump in – The below photo is simple in nature but really this family photo is similar to photographing a family with two toddlers and I’m pretty proud that all 8 eyes are on the camera, whoo hoo! Back to Meg’s post:-).
Kim – you’re really pretty!! Love, Megs
